Tom Frye is a Certified Management Consultant. Before founding Frye Claims Consultation and Administration, he served as Claims and Division Manager for major U.S. carriers as well as assistant Regional Administrator of the U.S. Department of Labor (OWCP) and Deputy Director of the Illinois Department of Labor. His claims administration experience exceeds forty three (43) years.
His major accomplishments include building successful management structures in the administration of large and small claims organizations. Previously, in an assignment at CNA Insurance Company, the loss ratio for workers’ compensation was reduced by ten points as a direct result of Mr. Frye’s efforts.
Mr. Frye has authored the ABCs of Management, which has been variously reviewed as excellent reading for any manager interested in improving his communication skills. He is regularly published in various management and industry magazines. Mr. Frye previously authored Managers’ Corner for the California Workers’ Compensation Enquirer. Mr. Frye teaches advanced courses for the IEA and served as President of the ICA. Mr. Frye attended Lincoln University, with legal training from John Marshall Law School. He is a member of several professional groups and lectures frequently.
Frye Claims is a member of the California Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters, California Association of Licensed Investigators , Oakland African-American Chamber of Commerce and the ICA.
